About the company 

The Werimo Toolma­king and Indus­tri­al Assem­bly GmbH was to 1991, start­ing from the VEB Elektro­in­stal­la­ti­on Wismar founded by 3 former employees in Neuklos­ter. At the time of the sale, the compa­ny was owned by Mr Gerhard Zucker and his son Micha­el Zucker. Since its founda­ti­on, Werimo GmbH has develo­ped into a modern manufac­tu­ring service provi­der with a compre­hen­si­ve range of services for the entire field of machi­ning and plant enginee­ring. 

The compa­ny enjoys an excel­lent reputa­ti­on in its sector nation­wi­de. In the 25 years since its founda­ti­on, the compa­ny has develo­ped a focus on the offshore indus­try, shipbuil­ding, the food indus­try, defence techno­lo­gy and mecha­ni­cal and plant enginee­ring.

Compa­ny sale (M&A) without risk and loss of value

The task 

The project included sales prepa­ra­ti­on, buyer search and approach as well as organi­sa­ti­on and modera­ti­on of the entire sales process. The chall­enge in this project was the locati­on Mecklen­burg-Western Pomera­niawhich did not appear attrac­ti­ve to many MBI candi­da­tes and the very good order situa­ti­on during the sales process, which put a lot of strain on the opera­ting owner.Nevert­hel­ess, the project inneral­ly from 15 months successful­ly comple­ted.

About the buyer

On 01.01.2019 acqui­red Allvar GmbH, based in Rostock the Compa­ny in the Rframe of a Share Deals. The young invest­ment compa­ny from Mecklen­burg-Western Pomera­nia, owned alrea­dy a mecha­ni­cal enginee­ring compa­ny and conti­nues to be on a growth path.
